As
Médi-Sélect is a family company, we
are even more concerned about social engagements of medicine.
We are proud to show our implication. Here they are :
First,
we have been involved along with « Healt
Partners International of Canada ». The
mission of this Canadian humanitary organization
is to contribute to improve health and living
conditions of children and adults in developing
countries. We involved ourselves by giving supplies
and medical equipment.
We
also implied ourselves by becoming partner
of the Quebec Medical Association
Student Group for
their found-raising concert. This event was meant
to raise funds for the Medicine Scholarship Progam
to support tomorrow’s doctors. We financially
involved ourselves for this event.
The
various events to support the medical
take-over are particularly important
to us.That is why we want to be as involved
as possible in those events.The General
Association of Pharmacy Students (AGEP)
and the Université Laval Medicine
Students Group (REMUL) organized the « PHA/MD » Conference.
This conference gathered the students,
tomorrow’s health professionals,
to expose them to the various aspects
of this single relation between their
professions, forming integral part of
a reality which will be soon their own.
We financially involved ourselves for
this event again.
We
are also proud to involve ourselves
with « Epipem ».
Epipem is a team of first-aid workers
made up of
medical students. Its first mission is
to promote health and first aid, particularly
in the Universitary community, with an
active approach and prevention tips.
Epipem gets involved in the community
by giving free prevention and first aid
courses in
primary schools. We implied ourselves
with Epipem by giving supplies and
medical equipment.
