A Family business
Médi-Sélect is a family enterprise that was founded in 1984 by founder Gérald Cantin who worked closely to surpass the needs of medical practitioners. As he became known for his professionalism and dedication, he surrounded himself with experienced, knowledgeable and loyal staff.
In 1991, his son Philippe Cantin joined the company. Following his father’s footsteps, and acquiring years of experience, he became the trusted reference for hospitals and medical clinics. Today as president of Médi-Sélect, Phillippe Cantin guides the enterprise with a masterful hand, along with director general Robert Mc Martin who has made great strides in developing the dental sector since his arrival to Médi-Sélect in 1993.
Gérald Cantin’s daughter, Paule Cantin, has also contributed greatly to the success of the organisation, distinguishing herself by her professionalism since 1997.
Finally, since 2011, Philipe’s daughter, Lesly-Erika has also contributed to the success of the enterprise, gaining administrative and customer service experience, and is now the go-to person for sleep apnea equipment.

For example, on February 8th, 2013, Médi-Sélect was proud to present Mr. Gilles Kègle with free medical supplies and a warm jacket with company logo in recognition of his dedication as a street nurse. Mr. Kègle – you have our admiration!
Committed to humanitarian efforts as well, Médi-Sélect has contributed to the efforts of Canadian Partners for International Health through donations of medical equipment and supplies. Médi-Sélect is proud to support the mission of this Canadian humanitarian organization in its efforts to improve health and living conditions in developing countries.
Ecological footprint
Médi-Sélect is concerned about its ecological footprint and is committed to implementing practices that respect its environment and is taking concrete steps to improve its environmental performance.
As a result, employees' working methods were revised to use less paper and use secure shredding, and then recycling for paper that has no choice but to print. Also, in this case, Medi-Select uses recycled ink for its printing.
In addition, are collected all cardboard boxes from receipt of goods and other recyclable materials.
